We have multiple clear options for you to choose from. The 1/16" thin is very firm but has some slight flex to it. It is the lightest clear we have available but the downfall is it could sag depending on the weight you put in your bag. 
The 1/8" is the most common and the firmest shaper we have to offer. The acrylic is 10 times stronger than glass. We also offer clear unbreakable which is made out of the material that's used for security glass in vending machines. 

The unbreakable cost more but it is the safest for your bag against breakage.

Some bag bases have small tight corners and others have wider corners. The most popular for medium to large bags is the 1/2" wide corners. The 1/4" tight corners are usually for small bags, clutches and purses. Both styles are rounded and polished.

All edges are rounded smooth and polished very nicely. We use tools to round off the corners and edges before we polish them. Sometimes the side tools and corner tools do not line up perfectly. This creates a slight bit of unevenness or a small divot in the thin 1/8" edge on the side of the shaper. Nearly all shapers on the market have this and it's not an issue with your bag whatsoever. These small imperfections aren't usually noticed unless inspected closely however some people like things perfect. For this reason we offer fine sanding by hand for a small rate. You can choose to have us fine sand out any edge unevenness and divots by hand before we polish your shaper.

Many times people want an acrylic shaper in a specific color but the color they want isn't available in acrylic. For this reason we apply a colored skin to the bottom side of the shaper. This color is seen through the clear acrylic and turns the clear into the desired color you want. In addition we can apply a colored felt backing on the skin. So you are able to choose one color of skin and another color of felt. The felt option is used to put a soft fabric between the acrylic shaper and your bag liner.

If you'd like, we can add a felt fabric layer to the bottom of your shaper. A soft layer of felt will be applied to the bottom of your shaper so when in your bag, it provides softness between your shaper and the inner liner of your bag.
